Title: Need a lightweight baclava

 Need one for kite flying to protect my face while flying.Have seen numerous liters with them but all I can find are ones for skiing.Need something lightweight for kiting.they must be around somewhere.Where do they get them?

Yes barressi bazzer and others wear Buffs
They work great for those of us who turn bright red in 10 minutes of sun....

Just checked out the recipe...  doesn't sound lightweight to me  :-*

    Ingredients

    375g (1 packet) filo pastry
    180g butter, melted & cooled
    2 tsp water

filling

    150g walnut pieces
    150g unsalted pistachios
    55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
    1tsp ground cinnamon

honey syrup

    1 375g jar honey
    165g (3/4 cup) sugar
    250mls (1 cup) water
    1 lemon, rind finely grated and juiced

You may find some under racing equipment. We sold a number of light weight ones that were not nomex and designed to be worn under a helmet.
