Title: Re: thors hammer-for those of you who are curious Post by: Kantaxel on July 17, 2009, 04:06 PM Just for a comparison: I'm six foot, and in this picture standing uphill of the wingtips. Awesome BIG kite, that flys pretty low and tricks well, considering it weighs three pounds dry.

Very nice build quality-some humongus spars.....the lower spreaders are as thick as my pinkie finger................ If you're asking about windrange?...It's purported to be 3-14 MPH....................I have only flown it way down low 2-3 MPH and it had little or no pull.............still it has a very solid feel.......you know it's there, for sure. Hope that helps, Jim Title: Re: thors hammer-for those of you who are curious Post by: kiter on July 18, 2009, 02:02 AM cool, thanks jim.
Title: Re: thors hammer-for those of you who are curious Post by: Gamelord on July 20, 2009, 11:40 AM What is so surprising is just how well this monster can trick. It can flic-flac, axle (beautifully and super flat), Jacobs, 540, cascade, backspin, lazy susan..... But, you do have to do a ton of running and the tugs are all like huge lawn-mower pulls! In the stronger winds, I love taking off the leach line and letting this baby thunder. It has a very nice thundering rumble as it pulls through the air - if you are wanting to get some attention, this is the kite to do that. This is really an awesome kite to fly.

Question is, can you steer a wheelchair with your hands full? Title: Re: thors hammer-for those of you who are curious Post by: Bodega Bay Flyer on July 20, 2009, 01:30 PM Guess I'll need a buggy.
