Very nice kite.  After seeing your post on FA I decided to get one!

Should be a nice kite knowing the builder and designer!

Dave, not disputing you at all but to be honest, you could bridle up a piece of plywood and make it fly great.  :D

UL on the left?

These kites will be very nicely made to boot. I was very impressed with the construction/quality on the Mondrian.

Thanks Randy, but you are too good! :D

Yes, the UL is on the left.

I 've write a review with some photos on K2 UL on my blog, it's in italian, but google translate could help you! ;)

Not only well made, but I believe they are Marco Chini designs to boot.  I've always wanted to see a larger Opera (There was that 2.4 Opera that disappeared) and this could be it.

Nice kites! I have a Kandinski (?) and really like it. Loads of fun and the 3/4 size is a blast. ;D

I might be totally incorrect but didn't Marco and Challenger part company? I seem to recall someone stating that on here, or the old forum, when someone said the same thing.

For sure the Operas were great kites.

I'm sorry but it's not correct, the only challenger's kite designer is alex moroni in collaboration with luca guardigli (mondrian, mirņ) and paolo terra (mirņ, k2). Also stefan furter helped a little bit alex in the k2 project. Marco chini don't take part of the company.
My english is bad, i hope you could understand me! :)

Dave, by "part company" I meant were no longer working together.  ;)

Actually that's my bad.  I saw Marco's name under the Challenger sails logo link on the C-style web page.

Stephan Furter is pretty darn good too!
