Title: Great Conditions at LSP!
Post by: Bob D on March 10, 2010, 04:25 AM
I met JimB at LSP yesterday (March 9) at LSP and the ground conditions were great! The ground isn't squishy at all (not even damp) and most of the goose poop has disappeared. (You could sit on the ground without worrying about whether you're going to sit on a land mine.) I didn't see any recent evidence of geese but we did almost have some mid air collisions with a flock (or is it a "gaggle") of geese that flew overhead once.

I'm ready to go back - soon!

Thanks for the update.  I was wondering how the fields were doing at this time of year.

Yeah, those geese really came in low.

Flew right through my lines. And it was a very short line set. They were down around Thirty feet in full formation.

It was a wonder one of them didn't clothesline itself.
