Nice looking stack.
I have never flown a stack. Must try one someday.

Nice.  I've always want to try one of those stacks.  I bet it's a handful.

I flew my Laser 9-stack yesterday and it pulled like a freakin' truck.  I was literally dragged 5-10 feet each time it entered the power zone.

fun!

Sounds like FUN! I would love to see that stack in the air. Did you take any pictures?
Thanks,
Al.

Though I only flew it in medium wind, it wasn't particularly hard pulling, but handful is a good description nonetheless. A lot of ripstop on the end of your lines. Majestic? Impressive? Cool!. Very nice flyer compared to some less sophisticated stacks I've flown. Just slapping several kites together does not always make for an enjoyable experience. This one is different.

I wonder how long they've been building them? close to 20 years?

Do I see the nose of the lead kite pulled in considerably or is that an optical delusion?  Cool looking stack for sure.

When John took the pictures, he unknowingly had the keel wrapped on the front kite, causing it to be at the wrong angle.  The wind was very light for the pictures and it was a "pop-n-shoot" type of day.  When it is not wrapped, all kites are stacked in perfect formation.

The stack flies exceptionally well.  It tracks like it is on rails and pulls moderately.  Not hard enough to yank you out of your shoes but plenty hard enough to give you an excellent workout and stretch your arms a bit.  It is super fun to fly.  The noise it makes is a "Harley" type rumble and is very pleasing to hear.  It can get some serious attention.  The stack can also be broken apart and flown individually.  The rear kite is a whopping 10 foot span and is awesome fun to fly by itself.

FWIW, This is my personal stack and is the newer design currently being built by Wakeless.  Built in 2010.  You can also get custom colors if desired.

***edited for correction of rear kite, it is 10 ft, not 12 like the voices in my head were telling me ***

Wow, 12 feet?  I thought they were 6'/8'/10'.. is it 8'/10'/12'?
