Title: Need Identification on a part - pic attached
Post by: bob332 on August 03, 2011, 05:48 PM
hello,

I am hoping somebody can help me out w/ what a part is.  I do not know kites and am using the parts for a different use altogether, but this particular part is shown to work with what my end project is.  It is the yellow outlined parts in the attached pic:

thanks in advance,

Direct Link removed.

Hello bob332

One of the very few rules here is that there are no direct links to other kite stores as this Forum is hosted by GWTW (see ad top right).

The part does look like a JACO standoff connector.

They look like HQ Stand Off connectors. Ask our host. I'm rather sure he can get them for you.

They're not listed, but ask Steve.
Those look like the ones he got for me.

is there any way you could tell me which ones have the 6mm hole and the 3mm hole as illustrated?  I need those dimensions for the motors I will be using.  this is what i am building - http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/indoor-fun-with-a-tiny (http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/indoor-fun-with-a-tiny) and the places that are linked to in that thread are in europe and do not ship to the US.

for me they look like the EGG standoff-connectors Kitehouse uses on their kites (http://v2.1.kiteclique.com/wordpress-3.0/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/Cosmic.jpg)

These parts are Eolo Gaya (Spain) standoffs connectors. Ask Eolo Sports. Kitehouse (Germany) is using these parts too but without the "Eolo Gaya" logo.
