Title: Kap Rig test...
Post by: kepople on May 27, 2012, 04:37 PM
Finally finished my KAP rig from Brooxes...
Hoisting it with an HQ Flow Form 2.0... ridiculously lifting kite..
Winds were real gusty but this was just a test...

It sure is purdy in the air...

Bad thing is, this used to be an alternate kiting field with a very large oak tree... progress  :-[

Nice 1st set of pics.

That is a beast of a kite for KAP. No problem lifting your rig.

May try my gomberg ghost next time. It was gusty and just threw the rig around a lot.
A tail might help also. Does it help to throw some laundry on there also to weight it down a bit?
Probably just due to bad winds

I have used my Focus Manta as a lifter for my kap rig and that worked well..and today i was using my Kevin Shannon Roller with phenomenal success...
