Title: Gomberg Ghost Delta Repair
Post by: skyguy48 on October 30, 2012, 03:57 PM
Gave my niece an 11 foot Gomberg ghost delta a while back.
It was used when I got it.
I'm sure I showed her how the leading edges should be pushed all of the way down to the trailing edges, but I guess she forgot, and the leading edges are broken.
My problem is, she has thrown out the originals.

We are now in need of new ones.
Anyone know what these are framed in? I'd like to replace both sides. The spine and spreader are both fine.

The tails on this kite are Ripstop, not organza.
Anyone have suggestions?

6 mm Fiberglass in the leading edge?

Tube: 6mm outside / 4 mm inside / 1290mm length?

TIA for any help

I would go to 5mm carbon....you can get 60" single piece tubes........

It is a two piece leading edge. I have had great success using .230 pilferage carbon. Drop me an email or PM and I can help you out.
