Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

OK I wasn't aware of these subtleties in meaning between the derogatory "stunt" and the all-encompassing "sport"

And it does match how the community actually uses this in practice and presents itself to the world.
I mean, search "stunt kite" in Google you get "About 1,600,000 results"
If you search "sport kite" you get "About  67,200,000 results" !

So I will definitely go for:
  • Sport kiting
  • Slack line flying
  • Freestyle kiting

Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments alien. However you got the wrong context and metaphor. I'm Catalan, not Spanish (despite what my passport says). So no bullfighting due to cultural reasons, but moreover I'm all in favour of peaceful activities and against animal cruelty.

In any case thanks for the "super-sport kiting" suggestion. I'll seriously consider it.

Cheers!

If your looking for proper English then you would have to ask an English man and they would be more then happy to tell you the proper way.

But if your asking me as an American speaking gentleman then my answer would be if I can understand it then its proper.

I liked the fractured axel shirt. Something along the line of "yes,  it is intentional and you should be impressed". I thought I had a picture it somewhere but can't find it.
I have a shirt that has a stack on it and says "Once you get it up,  can you control it? "

Have one of those in a drawer somewhere - I'll dig it up and get a pic Smiley
