I am not sure - I found these while browsing kite videos.

I think the flyers are busterkite and GiMiCX (to use their kite personas).

Sounds like a plan stan. The Taz unroll around the 3 min mark was sweet though! I don't think I've ever seen something like that before. Also when the camera has the kite and the flyer in it, its nice to see how small the inputs are for a kite like that on a commete.

I know!  I think I'm counting 8 consecutive Taz cascade there - thats like 16 Taz in a row my friend!

Devon, a challenge,  if you can do an even 10 cascade in a row on video, I'll Paypal you $25.

but he uses a third input in every taz...

yes, it helps to get the kite through the rotation, but you can hide it much more! it is very visable in this cascade

For sure - this is an assertive video all the way around - taz, landing, comete, rising cascade.  The kite is being manipulated, no slow floaty stuff.

I took it as part of the point of the video, to show a more aggressive style with a UL, no reliance on the wind for float, but total control of the kite.

Anyhow, that was my take.

If this was a week ago, I totally would of went out and started working tazzes again. I moved to grad school this past saturday, so the kites are away again until summer next year, or christmas. I do very much like the aggression concept of the video, with a lite kite. I also like the sound that you can still hear with the kite because they didnt mute it, which was a nice touch.

I must say I had this feeling as well. While a superb sequence...if I was to be brutally honest, I would say they lack "float" because the lines seem never to actually slack to allow it.

Many newer kites that make the taz more accessible have also made the possible ugly-but-no-tip-wrap taz like maneuvers more numerous.

I find these nice, but I will take one true floater over a cascade of these. As I see it, he could also just be the only guy who can pull this off and I am 100% full of bull.

Perhaps another 360 tacked on the end is where this kite should be flown?
