Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I noticed today that John and Marieanne have put a little advertisement on their site about purchasing icarex.  I've been getting fabric from them for quite a while, but it's the first I've seen advertised as a source.  Pricing, quantity and color selection available by inquiry.  Thought I'd point it out to the building/repair folks if you have been looking for a source since Hang-em-high has been out of commission.

Forgive the commercial/advertisement.  My hope is that since the fabric is not available anywhere else in the USA (to my knowledge), my post will remain present without being considered a violation of the forum rules.

For those that don't know John and Marieanne's site, you can get there in a round-about manor using the skyburner link at the right of the screen.

Thats a no to both.  Jon is only selling the icarex at the moment.  For mylar there is goodwinds and for thread there is pretty much ANY sewing shop. Guttermans embroidery thread is a good v30 match and what I use.
