One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Not that much new in the sports kite line except some new light wind kites.

The Stratus (185cm) looks like it is being sold as a cheaper alternative to the Shadow with ripstop sail and plain carbon frame.

The Nimbus (147cm) looks like a replacement for the discontinued Tango.

Perhap the most 'interesting' could be the new Nimbus (115cm) 2-34 MPH on a 3mm carbon frame!!

Good solid line up but nothing to blow your socks off. Hope they do well with it, I've always liked HQ kites.

I wonder if any of the new line up will make it's way into the UK? Still waiting to see last years CrackerJack from UK dealers  Sad.

Of the 2 main UK HQ dealers the only one of the new 2013 range they stock is the Orion at the very cheap end of the market Sad  Still no sign of the 2012 Crackerjack  Sad Sad   Most worrying is that one them has had a couple of the higher end models out of stock for a while now and no sign of new stock coming in...I do wonder if they may be running down the more expensive HQ range to concentrate of the cheap end of the market ( they seem to have a lot of new 20-40 kites)  Angry Angry

I'm considering buying a spare Maestro 2 ( one of my favourites) while they still have them in stock!  Sad Sad

1st post on here, thought it was time to say hello.

I managed to get my Crackerjack today here in the UK.
Really is first class.
More details to follow, perhaps a mini review.
Will put some photos up at the weekend. Tongue
It was purchased for my son,  but I think this will get me going again.
Hence why I said MY.....  Cheesy

UK dealer or did you import!

I've fancied one of those for a while but neither of the main UK dealers stock them!

Hi Hadge
Thanks for the welcome.

It was not an import.
But I did mail HQ first.
I will send a pm.
By the way, I don't get to your area often.
But if your ever in the Warwickshire area
and would like to try before you buy.
your more than welcome.

Sometimes information on new HQ products seem like leaked government secrets... Undecided
