Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

KitebuilderDOTcom,.... search for Harold Ames, "kite-squid"
acid etch dyes used on Polycarbonate coated icarex, (steam & pressure set thru an autoclave)

He's the only guy I know that can make this work and have the results come out fantastic, extremely durable and worthy of your kite building efforts!

You can do screen printing, take a different skill.
Ken Conrad at Great Winds kites has been doing dye sublimation for a few years.  All of Prism's printed kites are thru the process that Ken uses.

Yep, Ken Conrad can print for you and has much experience in doing kite fabric. He has greige material or I believe you can supply your own (He told me Icarex really stinks during the heat curing process though). Google "Great Winds Kite Company" for contact info, prices are reasonable and his work is excellent.
