Three are a few guys at our weekly fly who have them. I'll ask around, though it may take a little time to get the answer, as i only see them once a week.

Many thanks Wayner.

But a .240" for the Upper Spreader ?

I have never seen that for the NSR but always Easton, Advantage or SkyShark 3P (UL)/5P (STD-VTD) spars.

Is your kite original from TOTL ?

Yes it is original.  All the spars are Avia .240, not just the upper spreader.

My Hawaiian was framed in fiberglass before the age of standoffs.

My NSR, North Shore Extreme and Spin Off all have putruded carbon rods. The Spin Off was made in 1992, not sure of the dates of the other North Shores but is was around that time period.

Both of mine are 22, but a 22 5/8 would work, it would tighten the sail on mine

I think it depends on the type of connectors.

With the old original Leading Edge vinyl connectors, a 22" length Upper spreader is right.

With APA connectors, a 22"5/8 is probably better. A 22" U.S. seems too short because with these modern connectors, the U.S. can be introduced until the end of the APA LE connector (not with the old vinyl).

Are you OK ?
