Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Build a new scalpel, in a sul configuration:

Sail is made from 19g cuben, with reinforcements made from 25+48g cuben.
Frame is avia skinny ul for the leading edges, avia breeze for the V-keel and 5mm dpp for the straight keel.
Spreader is Aerostuff Zen. The bridle is made from Liros DSL 35.

Wingspan is 220cm, and weight coms in at 180grams.

Windrange is from about 1mph up to 8mph for the comfort zone, and goes to over 16mph in a pitch.

Looks great Andre!
How many rods are in this? Do each of the darker stripes on the trailing edge have a batten in them?

Thief:
Yes, each of the little strips have a baton in them, flat carbon strips. 2mm wide and 0.3mm thick. The longer batons are 3mm wide and 0.5mm thick.

It is a pretty work intensive kite for sure.

And yes, it flies as cool as it looks Smiley

Wind is about 2mph in this video.
