Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The visitor from China Wei Tian at Wednesday Night fly in Plymouth Mi...  There was almost No Wind. The altitude he achieved was incredible 800 meters of line.  He hand built and painted the kites.
They are made of 2 lb. paper and bamboo.

**You will see Adrian Conn talking with Wei also.  Two amazing kite builders.

Wei is returning to China in early November.

This is amazing.  I am wondering where I can buy one of these including the line wheel.  Incredible craftsmanship and flying skill!

The Chinese flyers are always flying these at Asian festivals - the guys have incredible skill and are awesome to watch.  Especially when they don't have to worry about airspace restrictions, they fly them at incredible heights.

In Ahmedebad this year, the local birds were trying to attack them, but the kite flyers were too good for that Grin

Not as easy to fly as these guys make them look!
