Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thanks for the thought John.

But the "demand" has gone done each year to the point that

making the calendar is close to "moot" (semimoot?) (or is that even the correct word?).

John, if you want to pick out some pics, I'll make a calendar up for you.

All the photos have to be during the last year (for tradition).

Maybe (some of these or ones you liked):

Maybe a paper calendar is just too old fashioned for all the youngsters around here.

You should make an "app"   Cheesy

All paper calendar sales just crumpled away with time.

Rev calendar, AWOC calendar, GWTW with guest photographers.

Let's face it, $25 for a niche calendar is pricey and we're still in a recession.

I've always received some amazing entries from the GWTW people and the

voting was entertaining for the Forum in general. But with maturity and internet

gratification, hard products aren't as popular.

Thanks for the messages and this thread. It's appreciated.  Smiley

How about a "print your own" calender contest. We choose as we normally do and come up with the best 12 except you have to down load and print them your selves. A donation can be made to the forum and maybe we can come up with some prizes.

I think you can already do that DD.

All the pictures are downloadable at full resolution,

which is a higher pixel count ppi than the Cafepress calendar's dpi.

Of course, a donation to the GWTW Forum can be made at any time.  Smiley

You make good points, John. I have appreciated all your time and efforts on the past calendars, the entertaining forum threads, and the fact that they caused me to look at the scenes I was shooting with content and composition in mind - all good things.

So for the years you provided us with images that we saw daily and lasted through the year, a hearty Thank You.
