Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

If you use the zip ties and trim them, make sure you get the end trimmed flush.  I've seen these trimmed haphazard and they can tear flesh and ripstop.  Be diligent and they should work, however I'd get original replacements.  How much did that kite cost you? Cheap repairs and result in expensive fixes. Sad
Not my humble opinion, I don't have any humble ones! Wink

Yup, I agree, zip ties, if left with a sharp edge can cause a nice gash in your body or kite.

Lajstudios,

The website automatically calculates for average sized packages and weight of a minimum of one pound.

Give Daelyn a call tomorrow and she will get you a more accurate shipping price for the washers and bungee.

check ebay for "nylon finishing washers" or "nylon countersunk washers"

Im not sure what size you need, you may have to take a micrometer to one you already have.

Another Rev dealer is Flying Smiles Kites. (Direct link removed to non-sponsoring website, feel free to google them, Il Duce)

Go to Home Depot and get a pack of 10 faucet washers for a buck! Only thing I'd be afraid of with the wire tie is that it might rub the sail if not oriented correctly!
