One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Having some problems with the lines catching on the corners
of the triangle shaped rings when I make a correction. The triangle shape is the standard, but has anyone tried an "oval" shaped
ring instead?
Does anyone tie directly to the handle and not use the rings?

 Thanks

Personally I find I get pretty much the same number of tangles with the pro handles. They are nice and light, but if it is a tangle free life you are looking for I would save your money.

Hmmmm.... perhaps if you went to the Rev Forum and did a search on "pro handles" (WITH the quotes).  Then if you look for a post from the result list from Ben with a timestamp of "24th March 2009 - 06:23 PM".  Hmmmm.... I wonder what would happen?  Roll Eyes   Cheesy

Fair warning:  Nice kit, but spendy.... as things leaving a machine shop are wont to be.

ATB,
Sam

P.S.  @Mods: If this isn't oblique enough, feel free to launch the Sidewinders and obliterate this post.

Oh! that's a neat idea. I just took some vinyl caps from an old lonely handle (I lost it's pair) and slipped them on the tops of my pro handles. That makes it a lot more comfortable on y index finger, which is almost always right up at the top of the handles. It took about 5 minutes, and cost nothing!

Thanks all. Glad it's not just me having this happen to.
Lots of good ideas both here and "the other" site.
I'm only into this "Rev thang" a few months and already can feel the spending getting out of control. The cheap end cap screw idea of the on with a nail is more to my wallets liking.

Those pro handles are nice though.

 Thanks again
