Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

In the automobile industry there is the reality of the production line lemon. "Usually on Monday or Friday"

Well it seems to have hit the production line kite industry. Go boutique or except the production line blues.

Had a chat ... about lemons Wink

According to Jens Frank [LevelOne] his manufacturer in Poland has been instructed to use 1/2 inch excess material all-round when cutting panels,
because some seams are double stitched as you can see in the picture of my Excalibur below.
Hence the problem with the spine seam.

Jurgen's much closer to what's going on with Level One, but it seems to me that it's never been quite the same company since the two brothers split.  The supply of Level One's into the UK hascertainly dried up since. Sad

Cheers Jay.

There's also one another important aspect to it:- I do remember paying almost double price for SkyShark carbon tubes  Sad
my side of the Atlantic a couple of years back.

E.g. a Genesis for 200 euro, used to retail at St135 or US$210, now that has significantly changed. Because the Euro is quite strong, two hundred euro would get you now a Talon, DS or a Vendetta !!! Visa versa you guys have to dish out a lot for a Level One non-boutique kite.

Steering back on topic; apparently the Eternity is selling like hot cakes in France -???- Probably due to the motto of the French revolution:-
Liberty, Equality, Fraternity and Eternity ...  Cheesy

I noticed a while back that it was doing well in France.

Thanks for the link to the review.
