One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Just a experiment, build with left-overs Cheesy
The leading edges are made from mylar and filled with p200 an p300, yoyo stoppers made from grommets. 3p spine and 27 grams in the tail. Black diamond nitro lower spreader and 6 mm upper spreader. All thats needed is a bit more wind  Cheesy

The leading edge treatment looks sweet.

Are those lower rectangles vents?

You might gain 1 mph with that venting and smooth out the bumps a little.

Nice layout.  Smiley

With those vents you'll need a *lot* more wind won't you?   Wink  I like the grommets.  What are they from?  Am curious how the mylar will hold up as LE tunnels.

The grommets look like Kitehouse yoyo stoppers.

@stapp59 , the grommets are indeed kitehouse/ Benson style Wink. Actualy they are carparts with a little piece cut out.
And yes Chilese the rectangular parts are vents, i've flown the kite once and they really make for one smooth ride! fade launch's are a bit tricky/ sul type, it will fly in std winds with enough pressure for sharp(90 degrea corners) but makes taz machines a bit easier. I havent got the change to test it in really high winds.....

Hopefully the mylar wich is strong enough to last.....

I will keep you posted, hopefully with a little movie teaser a.s.a.p.

I like the grommets.  What are they from?

You can use "rubber wiring grommets" - available from auto parts suppliers, electrical outlets, etc
