One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The Hall boys ...

It is not flesh and blood but the heart which makes us fathers and sons.

Back at you!  Smiley

My little one decided she was staying in Vegas last weekend when it was time to come home. I'm wondering when she's gonna miss me enough to come home.
She's proven to be quite independant for a 6 year old..

I fully appreciate the ability of trees to attract kites. They have special powers that way.

Hey -- I have nothing but respect for good parents. Hard job.

But I wonder when they are going to designate a day for those of us with no kids who  happily support school levys, don't get extra tax exceptions, and get to deal with poor parents in restaurants, movies, and airplanes....

I offer to spank the kids for the parents since their "timeout" punishment doesn't seem to be working.

Don't we have a Gomberg Day on the Forum calendar?  We should, he's done more than almost anyone to support and grow kiting.

I took my 5 year old daughter up for her very 1st airplane ride.  We went up in an open cockpit 1940 Waco biplane ride around Seattle.  She loved it.  Then I took her to see the new Disney movie "up".  It truly was a day to remember.

I took two daughters and a niece to see UP today.

Big fun!

I like being a Dad.

Highly reccommend it.  Smiley

Both my kids live about 800 Km away, but I flew at the Father's Day Kite Fly in Comox again.
I've gone every year since 1990. It was a lot of fun when the kids were younger, but they're all grown up now.  Undecided
