One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

It kinda looks like two high aspect ratio 'delta-winged' kites joined somewhat in the middle. I don't think you will get much precision flight with it but it sure looks like it might be a blast to fly!

Welp,
the first flights have passed!

It actually flies, and pretty cool as well.

First, on the ground:

And in a bad video in the air:

https://vimeo.com/83977357

First impressions,
low pull, can get pretty quick in higher winds, and very slow in low winds, interesting flight behavior, curious feeling on the line. There is potential in it i think, not much for tricks, to flexible but one has to try when the winds not howl this much to judge.

Pretty cool looking in flight ...Looks like I was wrong in presuming it would't have precision capabilities!

Kinda reminds me of the kite called the 'Cyborg' from the 80's (at least that's what I think it was called...) I never saw one in person, but I sure did drool after it in the ITW catalogs !

Wow, you're the king of strange birds AE!  Smiley

I like your kites a lot.

Now your next project should be an Ara Ararauna Kite for me  Wink

Cheers!
