One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Today, for lunch, I went to a small park about 1 mile south of work.

Flew the Jumping Jack Flash in bumpy 10 mph winds for about 40 minutes.

Temperatures were in the low 70s. I was in shorts, tennis shoes and a button shirt.

Tilley hat and Maui Jim shades of course. Winters are so harsh in Las Vegas.

Lunch? What's lunch?  Wink

Subtract about 50 degrees, paint the grass white... I've plowed and shoveled 4 of the last 5 days.  Roll Eyes

Lunch?  I ate take out in a hotel room while on a conference call.  Kites were in the car, very lonely kites.

Life is too short to drink cheap beer.

I flew an SUL quadline on 50# x 120' lines, doing skims on a calm pond.
