Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Here are a few of mine?

Does anyone know what ever happened to Wayne Knott?

Does anyone have a copy of the transcripts of all the replies from
the "Wife Phrases" thread we did many years ago?

Did we ever resolve sleeving?

That's easy!

It's a complete waste of time and energy.

Next question.   Grin

KiteAddiction.com was a website which provided free web hosting to the kite community and a lot of us put pages and pictures up, some folks with really nice sites, like Chilese's. One day about a year after it started it just stopped. The owner kept saying it would be back up soon but it never was. We waited and waited...

As with many things old kite, you can still get a sense of what kiteaddiction.com was like on the WayBack Machine at www.archive.org.

There is a prize offered of a yellow, blue & black BMK Mako for the person with the closest guess to when those pesky DNS issues with kiteaddiction.com are finally resolved.  Kiss
