Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Preliminary information is that the HQ versions will be built to order with a retail price of $900. At that price, the link provided by kwmf would seem to be the better deal. I don't think VAT applies to sales from Europe to the US.

and HQ has a habit of their high end pieces never even making it to the US...or if they do there is usually a VERY limited supply (like under 10).....
happens.....
of course a kite manufacturer would want to have higher end items as show pieces and potential sales....so they make a few....gets attention to the brand and products.....if they get to sell one or 5 that is great...if not they have great showpieces for trade shows (ktai is not the only trade show that these guys go to...and of course it is also a just a drop int he bucket).....

When John added more pictures that pushed the pictures that Sam was asking about further down the queue.....
he was specifically asking about these two:

Undecided  I thought added images would be posted at the end and the number would stay constant.... oh well.

Those are the two.  Apparently Rob still remembers what I like.  Cheesy

Sam

Uploading Thursday photos from the show. Leaving

in a few minutes for the banquet. No next kite to save the world.

My favorite kite at the show is the Skydog Randy Tom Tie Dye Turtle.

Dave Shenkman in attendance.  Smiley

Thanks John, if KTAI ever changes venues we'll have to set up a paypal donation site to get you there.

Those new Trezoks designs are sweet, I was ready to pry open my wallet, but I'm afraid I don't have THAT big of crowbar

HQ Kites & Designs USA is importing Lutz's Codys, handmade in Germany by himself. The photos are his Codyline and Liquid Box. HQ is not producing these kites, only distributing. We have inventory in the states now, in assorted colors.
