Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Nice Pic.....

Second most abusive webshots session.  3 popups, a translucent layer, and a partridge in a pear tree.  Guess it's better than the broken ad that launches successive popups until the browser crashes from too many instances Shocked/

(hijack)sounds like you need to update your browser.  IE 7 onwards includes a pop-up blocker.  Firefox includes a pop-up blocker, with even more effective/configurable blockers as add-ons.  Either one will minimize the problem - won't do anything about the transluscent layers, but they'll kill the pop-ups.  And at least the transluscent ad was better than the Purina contest/charity thing they had up a couple of weeks ago that didn't actually have a close button, rendering webshots effectively uselss - here's your picture... for two seconds!(/hijack)

Agreed Sam. Webshots is frustrating. I think I'll switch over to another photo hosting site.

And thanks, Geo.
