One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Wow! Bravo! Does it transfer over to other kites?  Looks like zero wind or close to it?!

Hi JayDee.

It was like a 2 mile wind. Removed the upper spreader but kept the tail weight.

I have done this trick. With my French Connection too.  This trick works best with low wind conditions. Remember that you have to run forward for this one.

Thanks  Smiley

Well that's a perfect setup for LaDole, which basically is a rolled up WapDooWap.

I Agree Kareloh.

I think I'm ready to take that step. I'll try that for my next video.

I did manage to do a different variation of the WapDooWap (With 2 back-spins).

Maybe I should try an extra half turn and fly straight up and not back to a fade...

Here is the video.

I hope your school work is going smooth and you are getting some flying time in. I'm still looking forward to your 3 rotations of the AVFFF. I think the other guy has given up.  Cry Wink

...Somehow I missed out on the beginnings of the naming convention, and it's been puzzling me for months now, so I have to ask...

What does A, V and F in say: 'AVFFF' mean?

You must have missed the name the trick thread also.
There's one thing for sure. It's a lot easier to 'flame' the name than it is to do the trick.  Wink

Correct, didn't see the thread and looks like I won't as the lead discussion was deleted. Lot's of opinions and history looks like.

Thanks for the information.

...I was guessing that "A" represented the kite upwards, "V" represented the kite downwards, and each "F" was a flick or a flac, but couldn't make that fit the video.
