One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi all. If you remember my recent thread about my E2 and wanting to fix it before I head to Aussie land to visit family... Well, I've changed plans. I'm going to buy them a kite there. Have it shipped from the local kite store and then when I get there, I'll fly with them and then let them keep it.  It'll be for two girls around 11 and 12 and their younger brother who is under 5 (and of course the parents too).

Would you all recommend one kite over the other for a novice crowd? Personally, I love the looks of the E3 more. But the Hypnotist looks really nice too. Thoughts?

what will the normal wind conditions be there?  a foil and a framed kite might cover all wind conditions best....

the hypno will take a LOT more abuse But the e3 has a wider wind range. I think the hypno also comes with a really good video (sorry I Cant remember its name) that being said I like the E2 better than both of them put together.. Robs Idea will get a lot of smiles and giggles

Freestyle Pilot DVD.  It should be included with either of these kites.

under the circumstances you describe I would go for the Hypno. Much easier to set up and doesn't have the wing batons that the E3 has and are so easy to loose. In the right conditions it flies as well as the E3 if not better. Remember how so many folk were never totally happy with the E3 and spent alot of time trying to tweek it.

That's really a good point about the wing batons. With this being primarily for kids, I think eliminating parts is a good idea. Hypnotist it is. Hopefully, they have the Citrus color. I think I like that one best.
