One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

welcome. While I have flown a kite like yours, I have never owned one, so sadly I can't provide the information you seek, but I do know you have found the right place on the internet to get the help you need. Hopefully someone will be along soon who is able to help. They are a great bunch of people here. I just wanted to say hi, and hope you are back in the air soon.

Contact Jon Trenephol of Skyburner kites at JTandM@skyburner.com   Jon was the one that designed or helped design the THP spars for the platinum while working to creat the G-force tube line for kites with Avia and Easton's Erea Borowski around the same time in the early 90'S. HE would be the best one to know what to replace them with.  If you still have the original spars you can see if they have any markings on them as well.

Hi Juan,

The Falhawk THP Platinum AVS (vented) was framed with T.H.P. Pro Carbon strong dark green spars.

Unfortunatly, these spars are very very hard to find today.  Sad

You can change to SkyShark 7PT tapered rods for your AVS.

Good luck.
