One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Winds in the morning were a little flaky. I'm told it's normal. Shifted one way, then another, then another and back again. Did this until around 11am or so and then stayed steady. Around 2pm or so the wind started to pick up. I'd say it was up to around 12-15mph. Almost no clouds in the sky and I'd guess around 80 degrees.

A quick culling of KAP photos from Saturday brings 500+ down to about 15. They can be found at http://www.flickr.com/thekitedude

Got home late last night and took a quick peek at my pics. Looks looks I have a few good ones. I'll have them up tonight, hopefully.

Update: Posted a bunch raw, no captions. http://picasaweb.google.com/kitehead/KiteParty12

Same set on Facebook.

A sample from an action series:

Yes, the pilot is on his back at this point...

Allen has been taking photos way more than he lets on. I like seeing the photos from each of the contributors in their own presentation method.  Smiley

Linked Photosphere photos in case you want to "walk around" the flying fields from Kite Party 12.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the field sizes were? (and how many?)
