One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I'm building a kite for someone (Sixth Sense.80) and he wants a line of green along the Leading Edge (as in the newest Level One models). Just 1 mm of colored Icarex under the Dacron.

I made a similar line along the Trailing Edge and around the reinforcement on the front. Looks cool!

Please use this if you want!

That has a nice bling factor, looks good!  How did you construct that?  I'm thinking a 10 mm strip of green with 9mm taped under the reinforcement and stitching.  Sound about right?

Can't find pics of it anymore but it reminds me of the edge treatment done on one of the all mylar custom Prism Aliens.

Very nice look.  Did you precut pieces and sew them precisely?  Or did you sew in the accent color and cut (with a very steady hand) it to the 1mm size?  Or is it folded and added more like piping?

for the trailing edge and leading edge i made a strip of icarex, about 1cm wide
after that i glued it on the dacron (spinnaker for TE) just before glueing the dacron flat to the sail

for the centrepiece i taped the dacron on a piece of icarex and cut it 1mm from the edge

everything hotcut, by the way, fraying is not nice...
