Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The attached file provides the flyer for the subject event.  The Pocono Kite Symphony/Lehigh Valley Kite Society does an extraordinary job every year.  This will be their 24th year running this event, which will be held again at the Louise W. Moore Park in Easton, PA.  Great place to fly single line, dual line and quad kites.  I had a blast flying at last year's event.  My car will be loaded with at least three bags of kites (single line glider kites, single line kites and stunt kites), so I am prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws our way.  Hope to see you there.

Doug

Just a reminder, the subject event is tomorrow.  The weather looks good, with the temperature in the 60s, and the winds ranging from 2 to 9 mph out of the southwest.  Hope to see you at the event.

Doug

On behalf of the Lehigh Valley Kite Society and Pocono Kite Symphony, I wish to thank all of the people who made this a great event for the numerous attending families and children.  There was a very large turn out this year under great kite flying conditions.  The attended seasoned kite flyers had a great time demonstrating the various aspects of our great hobby. Grin

In the near future, this group of great people will be heading about 50 miles northwest to host the 2nd Annual Mountain Top, PA Kite Festival.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 and Rich Evans is the event coordinator.  Hope to see you there. Wink

Doug

Sigh.  A little too far to take the time from family and job to come out.  Someday...
