One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

It is with sadness I must share that our friend and fellow flyer has passed away.

I was just reaching out to him this morning to see if he'd help do some demos with me this weekend at Reno kite festival for kids. No answer on his cell or home was odd, i googled him and found this...

He was a great guy and will be missed!

Aw, that's so sad. Phil was a unique guy. Really enthusiastic and fun. Only ran into him every few years at events, but he always had an undeniable energy and good humor.

RIP, Phil.

Maybe Chilese can post the picture of Phil flying a Rev one handed while hula-hooping.  Smiley
