hi again guys,
whats the difference in flight performance beween two and 3 stand off points ?
is 3 really needded ?
i see most of the older prism had 3 but now most modern kites only have2 stand off points!

The kites with 3 sets of standoff usually used one or more ( usually the outside) of them to change the tension and shape of the trailing edge for different wind conditions by moving them along the spreader.  With more modern sail and leading edge designs you don't tend to see 3 standoffs these days and the most modern designs now often only have one per side. With pairs of standoffs the position on the  trailing edge and the distance between them can have a huge effect on the trick ability of a kite. I recommend you read this for lots of info on kite design in general
