My wife found this article on the internet.  It is a must read for all serious kiters.  As a member of the senior community I am glad I just signed up for martial arts training.

I was there and thought the melee was just a mosh pit with folks jamming to the kite teams' music that was playing. Some in that crowd can really shake it! I had a dualie so the SLK flyers just ignored me and I walked right around the scene.  Never knew there was so much danger so close.  Yikes!   Huh

Next year I'm going all Kevlar for sure (and taking more video) ...

I saw this coming!

I told the wife to grab the kids and get them to the car...
I grabbed Grandma and talked her down...
Glad we got out when we did!!!
