One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hey gang,
Just in case...I had an outgoing package stolen from my front porch about a week ago that was to be heading to a customer. It was a 1.5 mid vent, custom FIRE color. If you see one pop up somewhere that looks suspicious, please let me know. I have only sold a total of maybe 3 or 4 Mid Vents in that color pattern as it's new, so if you see a NEW one offered for sale anywhere other than from me, it's likely the stolen one. Thanks.

Sitting on the HB pier?  Havn't been down to see you in many years Dave but was just looking at pictures of my family at KP III.

Last kite I drove down and picked up from you is still my favorite and I see you don't deal Bensons anymore  is my Gemini.

I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Watching too!   Embarrassed

Good idea to post it on Facebook "Help us Find your Lost Kite Equipment" page! (a photo would be a help too)!

Maybe with a little luck it was the shipping company/post office that picked it up for you, if I know I have a kite coming in and need to ship something out, I just leave it on the back porch and he takes it.

I just check TKC and the kite looks like what was old is new again, I just got a used sul without the mylar panel in what I've always called "Warm" color.

Yea,   I flew with Kevin this past Sunday and he did get some of his kites back.  I think he got about nine of em back.  I helped him and we put up his P60 with a big F stop and a blue teddy bear with a 24 sled.

Kevin did say that he did'nt get line back and he was kinda bummed but did pick some up at the harbor kite shop. Under new ownership.

I know that his big lobster and big scuba diver were'nt part of waht he got back.
