Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

bought my maui jims in sunnyvale mall in 2001. they have been around the world at least a dozen times, in cars, on boats, in mountains and of course on many many kite fields.  few weeks back i sat on them and broke one of the arms.  looking for a new pair reminded me the darn  things cost over 200 bucks and the re entry price deserved a deep intake of breadth.  i searched sydney, singapore, london, zurich and many other airports for a pair i liked. flirted with ray bans, vuarnets, oakleys etc but didn't something to bite on

checked out mj website and found they have a centre in the uk. an email to them got a response in a few hours suggesting their german repair centre was closest to me in austria.  a quick phone call and a lady there said sorry sir but those glasses have not been sold for more than 6 years but we may still have some parts, let me check.  she came back and said yes, they have two arms. i sent the glasses last week and they were returned yesterday. looking brand new in a beautiful new mj box (the old one was falling apart), lens sparkling, including a new mj cleaning cloth.

charge?  absolutely free, not even shipping
