Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Just a list of sport kite builders would be long and complicated.

Compiling a list of actual sport kites, especially if any useful information is attached to each would be a very large task.

Just a list of all the models and versions from one company can be extensive and often impossible without the input of several people and lots of internet research. The old GWTW forum had built up some of these lists, but that data is long gone, as are many of the contributors.

I nominate Glen as Chief List Maker!

Go for it, kite_pilot! Two great historical resources, if you're not aware of them, are the usenet group rec.kites and the archives at kitelife.com, especially the pdfs of Stunt Kite Quarterly and Kitelines magazines.
