Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Wildwood park at the entrance to Upper Bidwell.
Usually there by 10 am and if the conditions are good we'll fly to sunset.
Bring your Red, White and Blue stuff ... although I am quite sure Ted will have enough Patriotic stuff flying for all of us.

Did you order some cooler weather already or do we need to remind you along about thursday?

Need to start a "is it safe to fly your kite in 110 degree full sun" to match the rain thread  Cheesy

Good to see everyone. The wind wasn't the best but it was a beautiful day.
The Insync is a trip. Thanks for breaking that out Steve. I should have taken some video of the Trident while it was up. And I should have got some video of the Warrior Princess in action. Next time I will.  Grin

Sorry I didn't make it yesterday Sad
The end of the week last week I had some Transmission Problems with my truck, $800.00 to fix Cry, late start to the folks on the 4th, didn't drive past Chico until about 6:30, Looked like the wind was blowing pretty strong, Denny probably was able to put the Vented up.
Will most likely be out next Month Grin

Started out UL weather but came up through the afternoon, Denny flew the UL all morning but left about the time he had to put it away. South wind so it was a bit challenging but we got up a nice display of RWB with Teds Sutton and lots of RWB Transition tails, Bob got up one of his RWB foils and we put up the 19' Premier Flag Delta with matching tails. Steve was going to put up 3 kites, one red, one white, one blue but the winds weren't co-operating with the white Triton and rather then risk damaging such a rare/special kite he had to settle for a partial display. He needs a White & a Blue Pyro to go with his favorite red one since those seem to fly in nearly anything Nor Cal can dish out.

Didn't do any Sport Kiting ourselves but your RWB Widowmaker would've felt right at home John, missed you guys.
