I have a number of great kites but I am lacking a new style tricky kite.  I have been trying to narrow down from several different kites.  I am looking at a Std. as I fly most often in 7-12 mph. on the So. Cal coast.  I do understand asking about just one kite is like saying I'll just have one Lays potato chip, but if you could just have one Std. what would it be???

I do fly alot and I can get my current stuff to trick just not a fluid and quick as I've seen

This is just the start but I still need to fool the wife Grin

I think I have narrowed it down to the WIdow Maker or Deep Space.  I'm thinking call Jon and order Widow maker even though I'm not really crazy about the spider panel thing.

All WM i have seen have only look so so on the ground. All have looked striking in the air.

My WMUL is the red version   it's the only kite that people remember and come over to talk to me again

I think I have narrowed it down to the WIdow Maker or Deep Space.

The WM and deep space are both fantastic kites but are very different in feel, flying and tricking.

Sorry you can't try both before you buy as a few minutes on the lines of each kite would quickly identify which is a better match for your flying style.

What are you favorite kites to fly?

I do agree. Both kites are fantastic. Suggest to have them both. WM first and when your skill improved, DS second.
I love the panel design and build quality of Benson DS, for me, Benson kites are the best regarding build quality.

My favorite kite in the "more expensive, tricky" variety is the Deep Space.

There is a quality of smoothness that is unique to Benson.

Also, it is a simple kite to fly that will amaze you with it's range of tricks.

(I'm trying to buy a new one right now, lost my last one in divorce...)
