Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

We hosted 2 workshop with Ken back in the day. Photo was taken in the "West Wing" of the GWTW shop in Chico, California.
I have hundreds (if not thousands) of photos from back in the day if you all would be interested ... in fact you might be in a few of these old photos.

I second SKB's request!
Even though that was the year before I was there, I see some familiar faces in the pic above.  Smiley
Thanks, Steve!

At first glance, I saw the topic I wanted to see "Blue Moon Kite Building Workshop 2014".  Finally did get to one some  ten years later....

Steve has added some names to the photos. If anyone else can add some names,

I'll transfer the info to the pictures directly.  Thanks.

I still fly one of the 3 Mojo ULs that Paul Horner made at that workshop.
It was really fun to look back at those pics and see some of those kites up on the walls & ceiling, a few rare birds, for sure!

Yeah, memory lane.

I've always wanted that white Eclipse (among others that hung in GWTW)  Huh

I had the very good fortune to have that white Eclipse in my bag for a while, thanks to Geezer Dave!

Hey, that's me in the first photo of this thread. Grin
What a great time that was having Ken show me how to build a kite.  I attended two of those classes at GWTW back in the day.  Thanks for making that possible Steve!
