One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've  been busy and recently finished a new kite bag to replace the scruffy one I've had for the last couple of years. Based loosely on a well known commercially available design ( which isn't available in the UK and costs a bomb to import) I call it the ...er....'Quick' bag   Wink  Made of heavy duty proofed nylon rucksack fabric, the top flap just folds over so you can adjust the length for longer kites.  Made to hold 3-4 kites and linesets to grab and take down the local field. Total cost around 10 ($15?).  Oh ignore the bright red strap - I haven't had time to go into town and get some black webbing so that strap was used off an old bag.

You'll notice there aren't any close ups - I learned my sewing skills at the Frank N. Stein School of needlework!  Huh

Nice job! I have an Large R-Sky bag but often only take a few kites to my local flying field. Hmmmmmmm.

I think I might just have to consider making one of those for myself some time.  Undecided
