One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I need to re-sleeve one of the lines on my Snapshot 2.5.  The line is 300# Spectra, and I'm not sure what sleeving to get or where to get it.  I can't seem to find information on this, and I hate to assume that one sizes fits all.

I was going to order the Prism repair kit, which includes a sleeving kit, but I don't know if that will fit over the 300# line.  Does anybody know if it will work?  I hope so, because Amazon sells it, and I could have it for this coming weekend...

Here's the kit:

That should work. You can also check out A wind of change on the right here. Kent has stuff. I bought a kit with a thin wire to thread the line through the sleeving from Goodwinds as well.

I don't think it's needed, but doesn't seem to hurt anything either.

I like to use Bridle Line with the Spectra core pulled out. Get an ultralight high "E" guitar string, fold it in half, crimp it with pliers and use it for a threading tool.

Thanks for the responses.

I get pretty rowdy with this kite, so I consider it piece of mind.

I use 90 lb dacron, it is really cheap and comes in black or white. I have some piano wire I use to thread up the line but I reckon an old guitar string would be good. The 300lb line you could back splice loops in and have no knots. Easy peasy job. Look on utube for a diy.
Have a go
