Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Yes, that is a modification proposed by Andy Wardley for flying the kite outside (in low winds) on a long line. By long line I mean 50 ft or longer. In my mod of the IS, I have 2 knots. One at 4 inches and one at the T (0 additional lenth to the in-haul. I use the extra 4 inches knot with a long line and larkshead to the T knot when useing a short indoor line. The modifications helps with turn control when using a long line. I am not a good enough indoor flyer to comment if there is a significant difference but it seems to work. (I have less oversteer using the mod.)
