Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

A couple of weekends ago some UK flyers had a bit of a get-together on a fantastic beach. I made a little film of the general scene, but most of the footage I had was of my own flying – rather self-indulgent perhaps but I was hoping to fluke a VF entry. I failed! So I’ve put together a movie. It doesn’t amount to much more than film of a practice session, but I thought the setting made it worthy of publication.

Special thanks goes to anOldMan for pointing the camera at me flailing about and generally looking inept for a few segments.

Anyway, I think that’s enough introduction – Enjoy!

benjai, i always thoroughly enjoy your videos. they always inspire me to head out and fly.

could i ask a favor though? would you allow registered vimeo users to download your videos? reason i ask is i have a netbook loaded with kite videos which goes to the park with me so i can get tips or inspiration "on the scene" as it were. even watching them at home on the netbook they're very choppy using fullscreen HD in a web browser/flash situation but play smoothly using a video player.

i noticed on some of your videos in the past i actually could download them, but not anymore, the option is gone and it says "Sorry. This video is not available for download"

so, i'm crazy about your videos, just wish i could download and keep them.

edit: actually a couple are still dloadable but only maybe 10%
