Can someone take pics of the mods dave is talking about?

Dave modded an Prism E3 by shortening the over hauls and I was wondering if anyone had pics of how he did it.

Also dave said to get better line then what prism gives you.... What should I get?

He also added 5 more grams of weight to the tail and I want to know how he did that?

Thanks to anyone who helps I want to get the most out of my E3 and I have never modded a kite before so I am worried about messing it up.

Hey there...
I don't know about the bridle mods, but adding weight should be easy. I think that Dave used a weight from a Blue Moon kite, but you could easily use a small section of metal tubing, or even a nut that is a close fit to the diameter of the spine of the kite.
Generally speaking, I have found that adding weight to a kite has diminishing returns. I fly with less weight than most others like, but I give up some pitch based tricks for smoother flight and flatter spin tricks.
You should feel comfortable messing around with the kite, that's part of the fun. Just make guide marks so you can put things back where they were if you don't like the mod. Really the only thing you can't undo is if you decide to vent the sail...

As far as adding weight.....

A nickel (5¢) weighs very close to 5 grams.

So for a quick test,

Take a nickel inside the velcro at the tail and wrap a small rubber band around the area to keep the nickel from sliding out the side. If you like the weight, you can then do something a bit more permanent.

The whole nickel mod takes about 10 seconds.

So I am assuming this is  the part of my bridle that goes up to the upper leading edge? and how big of a loop does it need to be? what should be the average length after the mod?

to mover the outhauls up the leading edge, just loosen the larkshead, move it OVER the stopper, and retighten.

So I am taking it that the stopper is the plastic clip on the leading edge and I am just moving it above that or am I moving it above the robber piece that hold my lower spreaders and battons?
