Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Exactly.

Much easier to pull out the back up than mess with all that, especially if you are rec flying.

Carry an extra of whatever kite you like to fly the most.

I had hacksaws, glue, fittings, weights, sleeving (which I never use Huh), a roll of bridle cord, tails for the kids and a sizeable bag of spare rods. I've hardly ever used any of them except to fix other peoples kites, in fact when I had a look in the rod bag recently it was full of other peoples broken sticks and almost no good ones  Roll Eyes Why did I lug all that around?

I've taken all that out now and thrown another kite in the space it left  Cool
