One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I came across this on one of the deal sites I monitor

FREE  copy of Corel Paint Shop Pro X.

Don't know how long the link will last or if there is a limited number number of downloads.

You might want to create a new/throwaway email address from hotmail or yahoo beforehand to reduce the junk mail this may generate.

Hey Mike, thanks for the link. I've always used Photoshop & eventually PS Elements. I've seen nice reviews for Paintshop Pro but never tried it.

This gives me the chance.

Have fun, Ray

I've been using Paint Shop Pro since version 3, I have Adobe Photoshop but I'll go to PSP 95% of the time. Simpler to use, far easier learning curve and it'll do 90% of what Photoshop can do. It is also compatible with Photoshop plugins and filters to give you an idea how close the engines are. With most high end programs most of us will only learn or use 20% of the capability they have so PSP will fill most needs and it far exceeds the capability's of other inexpensive graphics programs.

They hooked me back in 1996 with their free trial software, after trying all the free graphics programs available and not being satisfied I gave PSP a test, after my 30 days ran out and I couldn't hack it I bought it, it had made itself indispensable already. Even after getting Photoshop I continued to purchase every upgrade through 8

Get this, I hadn't upgraded to 10 yet so this is really a treat, thanks Mike.

And I don't even feel too bad about it since I do have a few Lexar Thumb Drives  Wink

OK did I miss something? This is nagware, forces a buy PSP Photo X2 screen on you at shutdown. Setting the reminder schedule has been disabled, 30 days wouldn't be bad, even weekly but it does it on every shutdown.

Research shows it has also installed the Protexis Licensing Service (PSIService.exe) which is often flagged as spyware. PSP will not run if you remove Protexis and Protexis will not be removed if you uninstall PSP.

Info here, solutions to the nag screen and instructions on how to get rid of everything if you desire.

I forgot that old adage, if it looks to good to be true it probably isn't.  Angry
