HQ Yukon Bridle Adjustment

Is there any reference to determine how the bridle should be adjusted?  The HQ Yukon has been a major problem getting to launch.  When it does launch it looks like it is having a seizure shaking in the air.  The knots on the right side were very loose and I made it look like the left side.  I still think something is not right.  I have been very surprised to see the lack of information supplied with kites.

The HQ Yukon is perhaps as close to full-on entry level as you can get nowadays.  There are no adjustments to be made, as far as I can remember.  And as far as measurements...I hope you get very lucky here and someone comes with the numbers.  A quick Google-ing did not yield much for me.

You might try to go back to the store you bought it, have them take out another, and measure it for yourself?

Excellent...this should answer many of my questions.  The knot that establishes the length of O and A is actually a loop.  O and A on my kite are not fixed but vary based on the how much the loop has moved during flight.  This probably is the reason for the seizure type movement.

The next question is how did you find this information?  The HQ USA website does not list it and I did not receive the 28 page manual you found when I bought the kite.

I found the info by first finding the HQ-Invento website in Europe rather than their US website (they are a european-based company), and then it was just a case of nosing around their service section - here's a link to the framing and bridling info for all of their sport kites:

as there was no specific Yukon manual, I looked at their most generic one, and saw it had that diagram showing the bridle.

As to why you didn't get that manual when you bought the Yukon, I can't answer that - at least they have some info available online.
